Dear Friend,

The Passover (Pesach) Seder begins with the words, "All who are hungry come and eat; all in need come and join the Pesach ritual."

Before we start the Seder these words are said. This invitation sets the tone for the entire holiday. As a community we carry this important responsibility and holy task. We must ensure that the material and spiritual needs of our dear brothers and sisters are always provided for.

Chabad of Singer Island & the Beaches is dedicated to the humanitarian, physical, and spiritual well being of every individual in the community and beyond.

This Passover we have an estimated budget of $60,000. We are committed to sharing the love, joy and freedom of Passover with every family in our communities as well as our humanitarian project for the refugees of the Ukraine crisis.

We are distributing hand made Shmura matzah to every family, supporting those in need with their holiday food and necessities and are commited to sharing and spreading the joy of passover with our fast growing community.

At the Seder we read of four sons: the wise, the wicked, the simple and the son who does not know how to ask. The Lubavitcher Rebbe suggests that we must also remember the "fifth son" - the Jewish child who does not even show up for the Seder because of indifference, ignorance or assimilation. To this end we welcome every Jew from every walk of life to join our Seder, with an open heart!

Making a donation of Maos Chitim (Pesach funds for the needy) is one of the most significant and appropriate Mitzvos one can observe in preparation for this monumental holiday.
